It is derived from the breeding program Provedo conducted in Don Benito (Badajoz - Spain).

It has a very sweet and aromatic flavor. The flesh is crisp and juicy.

The tree has a strong and open growth habit. It is a russet and very productive variety.

The fruit is roundly shaped, compressed slightly from the bottom and top, smooth and very large. This is an aromatic, very crisp and sweet variety with a high-level coloration rate.

Late blossom time. It has bell-shaped flowers. Highly resistant to late spring frosts.
